The Drug Free Work Place Act

The act is now 25 years old and based on the latest Drug Testing Index report by Quest Diagnostics, which is an industry standard that examines positivity rates to provide a comprehensive analysis of workplace drug-use trends among three major testing populations:

·        Federally Mandated, Safety-Sensitive workers
·        General U.S. Workforce
·        Combined U.S. Workforce

Drug use among American workers declined 74% over the past 25 years, finds unprecedented analysis of more than 125 million workplace urine tests. These numbers indicate that effective drug testing policies in alignment with the Drug Free Work Place Act helps employers to deter drug use in the work place.
