From the Blooper Book

They say ‘honesty is the best policy’, but these applicants have us questioning that philosophy.  Here is the latest installment of real responses we’ve seen on job applications.

This should clear things up:

Have you been convicted of a crime in the past ten years, other than minor traffic violations? (checked yes)
If yes, describe in full: “Had Many Problems During a very difficult Time.  Which is and had been in the past.”

You’re not going to press charges, are you?

Have you been convicted of a crime in the past ten years, other than minor traffic violations? (checked yes)
If yes, describe in full: “Forgery. My friend gave me a bad money order for paying a speeding ticket to the county court.”

I was also charged with Misdemeanor Spelling:

Have you been convicted of a crime in the past ten years, other than minor traffic violations? (checked yes)
If yes, describe in full: “The case was lorting when I didn’t leave when the officer asked me too.”

The price of friendship:

Have you been convicted of a crime in the past ten years, other than minor traffic violations? (checked yes)
If yes, describe in full: “I got a misdemeanor on a speeding ticket. I got pulled over for speeding to go help a friend who is a firefighter. Don’t worry, firefighter was OK.”

Oh, in THAT case, we’ll dismiss all charges!

Have you been convicted of a crime in the past ten years, other than minor traffic violations? (checked yes)
If yes, describe in full: “Misdemeanor Marijuana Possession. I am fighting the charges as this is ridiculous. I never smoke marijuana only weed.”
